This recipe was one that my mom made often at home for us while we were growing up. Not only did she love it for its deliciousness, but also for its simplicity, as we can all understand the struggles of a busy lifestyle and balancing that with raising growing children. Bake time: 50 minutes

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp. butter

2/3 cup Bisquick baking mix

2 tsp. paprika

1 1/4 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. pepper

3 lbs. chicken (breasts, legs, thighs)
Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Melt butter in 9×13’’ baking dish by placing in heating oven until melted, then set aside.

In a bowl, mix Bisquick, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Coat chicken with dry ingredient mixture.

Place coated chicken in baking dish (chicken skin side down, if skin is present).

Bake for 35 minutes, then turn chicken to other side. Place back into oven and bake for 15 minutes longer (be sure to check internal temp before removing from oven for serving).
