When our neighbors offered us as many pears as we could pick from their tree – we could not pass it up! We ended up with nearly 20 pounds of pears after our pick and wanted to make a healthy and sweet snack with them. Pears are high in vitamin C, vitamin K, potassium, and iron, making them a very nutritious food great for eating as they are, dehydrating, or incorporating into various recipes. In our recipe, we used a crockpot for cooking this flavorful pearsauce perfect for the fall season.
Ingredients:

1/2 cup honey
-
1 cinnamon stick
-
1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
-
