We are allowed 0.3 wt % THC in our final products. This is like having only 3 brown M&M’s in a batch of 1,000 M&Ms total (assuming all the M&Ms are the same weight). It’s a very, very small amount. We prove our compliance through reputable analysis.

What happens in a complex system like the human body that may or may not be using other cannabis based products or what the sensitivity/specificity of a given urinalysis test may be are huge factors in the validity of urinalysis results.

There is a lot of conflicting information out there about 0% THC products as well, given that different drug tests use different antibody/antigen pairs that are sensitive to different metabolites and that CBD and THC are incredibly similar molecules. An individual may metabolize a THC free product to contain a detectable metabolite on a drug test panel…..think about people testing positive for opioids with poppy seeds or the way false positive pregnancy test results can happen via urinalysis (more rare to get false pregnancy tests via blood).

The bottom line is there is no guarantee for a given individual that they will pass a urine drug test if they use cannabis/legal hemp products.

Using legal hemp products tested by a reputable lab with THC at or below the legal limit makes it more probable that they would have a clean drug test, but there are simply no guarantees because there are too many other factors.

It is completely understandable that people are concerned about passing drug tests, particularly when it is associated with their livelihood. Certificates of Analysis or COA’s are the way in which the manufacturer discovers what is in the raw product and best practices is to have all raw materials third party tested. The products are all tested by the producers, but the third party testing ensures there has been no bias.

Hemp-derived CBD is federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, but it is not approved by the FDA as a drug or treatment for any condition (with the exception of one prescription product for epilepsy). That means CBD and hemp supplements are legally categorized as dietary supplements, not medications.

Under FDA and FTC guidelines:

Yes and No. As long as the product meets the definition of legal hemp (less than 0.3 wt% THC), StHealthy Nutrition CBD products are considered personal care products and can be shipped legally to all 50 states. However if you live in Idaho, Iowa, or North Dakota you should review the laws and how having CBD on your person may be in offense of current state law.

CALIFORNIA: (NO SHIPMENT TO CA)

In 2024, California enacted emergency regulations that changed how hemp-derived products are legally handled in the state—and we found out the hard way.

According to the California Department of Public Health, any ingestible hemp product containing detectable THC—even trace amounts well below the federal 0.3% limit—can now only be sold through state-licensed cannabis dispensaries. These rules apply even to federally compliant, non-intoxicating full-spectrum hemp products.

What makes this even more difficult is how suddenly and strictly the law was enforced. Our fulfillment center in San Diego was raided by the State of California, and all of our hemp-derived product inventory was confiscated and ultimately destroyed. This included high-quality, lab-tested products legally manufactured and stored.

We were not given advance notice that simply possessing these products—even in a non-retail facility—would be considered illegal under the new rules. As a result, we faced enormous financial losses, and thousands of premium hemp items were lost without compensation.

This is how we know: not from headlines or secondhand information, but from direct and painful experience.

So if you’re a California resident wondering why you can’t order full-spectrum hemp products from us or similar companies, it’s because state law now prohibits the sale and even storage of these products outside of licensed dispensaries.

IDAHO & SOUTH DAKOTA: (NO SHIPMENT TO ID OR SD)

While hemp-derived CBD is federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill, state laws still vary, and Idaho and South Dakota maintain stricter regulations than most other states.

In Idaho, CBD products are only legal if they contain zero THC—not even trace amounts (0.0%). This effectively bans full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD products, which can legally contain up to 0.3% THC under federal law. Because of this strict standard, most CBD products sold online do not meet Idaho’s requirements, and cannot be legally shipped there.

In South Dakota, the laws have shifted frequently, but as of now, the sale and shipment of ingestible CBD products remain legally restricted unless they are approved and sold through licensed facilities. The uncertainty in enforcement and evolving regulations makes it risky for reputable brands to ship products to customers in the state.

To stay compliant with state law and protect our customers and business, we are unable to ship CBD products to addresses in Idaho or South Dakota at this time. We promise to change these restrictions as soon as each state changes their laws.

Currently, we do not ship any of our products outside of the United States.

Our CBD products contain up to 0.3% THC, which is the federally legal limit under U.S. law. However, this THC content makes it prohibited to ship internationally, even to countries where hemp-derived products are legal.

Additionally, our non-CBD supplements are also restricted from international shipping due to varying import laws and regulations on dietary supplements across countries.

That said, we’re proud to offer fast, reliable shipping to 47 U.S. states, including Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico- sorry we can’t ship to California, Idaho, or South Dakota.
