Supplies:

  • Mixing bowl

  • Baking sheet

Ingredients:

  • 2 (15 oz.) cans chickpeas

  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil

  • 2 tsp. kosher salt

  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning

Directions:

  • Heat oven to 400 degrees.

  • Open cans of chickpeas, pour into strainer, and rinse with water.

  • Place chickpeas on towel and pat dry well.

  • Toss chickpeas in mixing bowl with olive oil and salt. Do NOT cover with garlic powder or Italian seasoning before baking, as the seasonings may burn during roasting.

  • Place chickpeas on baking sheet in a single layer.

  • Place in oven and roast for 25 minutes, shaking the pan to rotate chickpeas every 10 minutes.

  • When 25 minutes has passed, remove from oven, sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning, and enjoy!
