Mint is one of our favorite herbs in the garden. It’s fragrance and beauty are one of the marked plants of summer. A great way to add more mint to your life is to put it in smoothies. Peppermint is strong by itself, but when mixed with other foods, it adds a nice fresh taste!
Here is a quick smoothie for a taste of summer!
Ingredients: Make sure if possible all fruits, vegetables, and herbs are organic!
- 6 mint leaves
- Handful of cilantro
- Handful of parsley
- Handful of powergreens, kale, or spinach
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1/4 cup water
- Optional: I scoop Wilderness Athlete Protein Plus Vanilla. (this will add more sweetness and more protein-)
