Mint is one of our favorite herbs in the garden.  It’s fragrance and beauty are one of the marked plants of summer.  A great way to add more mint to your life is to put it in smoothies. Peppermint is strong by itself, but when mixed with other foods, it adds a nice fresh taste!  

Here is a quick smoothie for a taste of summer!

Ingredients: Make sure if possible all fruits, vegetables, and herbs are organic! 

  • 6 mint leaves
  • Handful of cilantro
  • Handful of parsley
  • Handful of powergreens, kale, or spinach
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Optional:  I scoop Wilderness Athlete Protein Plus Vanilla.  (this will add more sweetness and more protein-)
