Ingredients:

  • 3/4 lb. elbow pasta

  • 1 lb. ground meat (ground elk was used in our version)

  • 2 (10 oz.) cans tomato soup

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup water

  • garlic powder, salt, and pepper (to taste)

Directions:

  • Cook pasta to desired doneness and drain.

  • Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease 9×13” baking dish.

  • In a skillet, brown and chop ground meat. Add in garlic powder, salt, and pepper to browning meat to infuse flavors.

  • Add cooked pasta, tomato soup, water, and HALF of the cheese to the skillet with browned ground meat. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.

  • Pour the mixture into greased 9×13” baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.

  • Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and cook for additional 5 minutes.

  • Serve and enjoy.
