Many family traditions, especially around the holidays, are centered around meals. This festive and tasty breakfast dish will serve and be loved by many.

Ingredients:

12 cups sourdough bread

8 eggs
-
2 cups 2% milk

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1 tsp. cinnamon

2/3 cup brown sugar

1 cup strawberries, sliced

3/4 cup blueberries
-
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar

maple syrup
Directions:

Grease 9×13” casserole dish with nonstick spray.

Cut up sourdough bread into cubes and add to casserole dish.

In a large mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Whisk and mix well. Pour mixture over bread in casserole dish.

Add sliced strawberries and blueberries to top of casserole.

Wrap the casserole in saran wrap and refrigerate overnight.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 35 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Serve with maple syrup and enjoy.
